02
Information accessed by the KerbFind app
The information KerbFind accesses depends on the features you use and the permissions you provide.
Permissions you control
- Current location: accessed only when you give permission.

How KerbFind collects information
KerbFind collects information directly from you when you create an account, publish or manage a listing, choose a pickup location, save an item, submit a report or contact support. It also receives information through device permissions you enable, automatically through your use of the app, and from Apple when you sign in or complete a purchase.
KerbFind does not require unrelated personal information beyond what is reasonably necessary to provide, secure and support the app.
03
How your information is used
KerbFind uses information only where reasonably necessary to:
- Display nearby items and order them by distance
- Create and manage listings
- Show approximate pickup areas during normal browsing
- Provide directions when Navigate is selected
- Provide saved items and paid features
- Protect accounts, prevent misuse and investigate reports
- Respond to support, access, correction and deletion requests
04
Data sharing
KerbFind does not sell personal information or precise pickup locations.
Shared to provide the service
- Other users: public listing details, processed photos and an approximate pickup area.
- Apple: the precise active pickup coordinate when Navigate is selected.
- Supabase: information needed for authentication, databases, storage and app infrastructure.
Limited circumstances
Information may also be disclosed to service providers and advisers, where required by law, or where reasonably necessary to address a serious safety, fraud or security issue.
Fishatech requires third parties that receive KerbFind user information to provide the same or equivalent protection described in this policy and required by applicable privacy law and Apple’s App Review Guidelines.
KerbFind does not share personal information for cross-app tracking or independent third-party advertising.
05
Data storage
On your device
Limited settings, session information and app data may be stored locally to support your KerbFind experience.
In secure cloud services
When you publish a listing, KerbFind uploads the listing details, location information and processed photos needed to operate and display it.
KerbFind’s primary production database and file storage are configured for Supabase’s Sydney, Australia region.
06
User control
You can review or change KerbFind’s access to location, camera, photos and notifications through Settings → Apps → KerbFind on your iPhone.
You can also:
- Change or delete your listings
- Remove saved items
- Request access to or correction of personal information
- Request deletion of your account
- Withdraw consent where applicable
- Stop using KerbFind at any time
Delete your account
You can initiate permanent account deletion inside the app by opening Menu → Account & Privacy → Your data controls → Delete my KerbFind data. This deletes your KerbFind account, listings, saved items, alerts, associated photos and sign-in credentials, except for limited information that Fishatech is permitted or required to retain.
Deleting your KerbFind account does not cancel an Apple subscription. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple subscription settings. If KerbFind remains connected to Sign in with Apple after deletion, follow Apple’s instructions to remove that connection.
Privacy requests can be sent to privacyofficer@fishatech.com.
07
Data retention
KerbFind retains information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide, protect and support the service, meet legal obligations and resolve disputes.
Active listings
Listing information and processed photos are stored while a listing remains active.
When a listing ends
When a listing is collected or removed, its private pickup location and house-number information are removed from the active service record. When a listing expires, Navigate access ends immediately and the scheduled retention process removes its private location.
Ended listings and their processed photos are deleted after 30 days. Limited navigation and moderation records are normally deleted within 90 days unless they are needed for an active investigation, legal obligation or dispute.
Limited longer retention
Some records may be kept where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, backups or dispute resolution.
08
Children’s privacy
You must be at least 16 years old to use KerbFind. If you are under 18, you may use KerbFind only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who is responsible for your use of the service. KerbFind is not directed to children under 16.
KerbFind does not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child under 16 has provided personal information, contact privacyofficer@fishatech.com so it can be reviewed and removed where appropriate.
09
Location and photos
What people see
Normal browsing shows an approximate map point. The house number and precise pickup point are not shown publicly.
When Navigate is selected
For an approved, available and unexpired listing, the precise pickup coordinate is passed to Apple Maps to provide directions.
When access ends
Access to the precise pickup point ends when the listing expires, is collected or is removed. Private pickup location and house-number information are removed as described in the Data retention section. KerbFind does not publish previous pickup locations.
Weather and photos
Weather requests use an approximate pickup-area coordinate. Accepted photos are re-rendered and processed to obscure detected faces, number plates and house numbers before storage.
Automated detection may miss sensitive details, so users should review every photo before posting.
10
Overseas processing
Stored in Australia
KerbFind’s primary production database and file storage are configured for Supabase’s Sydney, Australia region.
International service providers
Supabase, Apple and their service providers operate internationally. Limited account, service, support or infrastructure information may be accessed or processed outside Australia, including in the United States and other countries where those providers operate.
Australian privacy safeguards
Fishatech takes reasonable steps required by applicable Australian privacy law when personal information is disclosed overseas. Privacy protections in another country may differ from those available in Australia.
11
How information is protected
Fishatech uses safeguards appropriate to the risks, including encrypted network connections, access controls, separate public and private location records, private photo storage, short-lived sessions, rate limits and administrator-access records.
No online service can guarantee absolute security. If you believe KerbFind or a listing creates a privacy, safety or security risk, contact privacyofficer@fishatech.com.
12
